2007 Scales of Justice Award Winner

In 2007 the NALS Foundation Scales of Justice Award Crystal Trophy and Certificate of Appreciation was accepted by Attorney Ronald Baylor, on behalf of the firm of Miller, Canfield, Paddock and Stone, PLC, at the Association's annual award's night program.  NALS of Greater Kalamazoo nominated Miller, Canfield, Paddock and Stone for the Award due to their continued support of the Association and its members through the following criteria:

They provide financial assistance for staff membership and participation in continuing legal education programs, as well as paid time off to attend those programs when needed.  The firm has continuously provided the association with conference rooms for association functions.  In addition, many of the firm's attorneys have provided free legal education seminars to the association.  For several years, it has been the single, largest financial contributor to the NALS of Greater Kalamazoo annual Koeze Nut fundraiser, which enables the association to give scholarships to local students seeking to continue their education in the legal field.  The firm has also provided funding for the NALS of Michigan state annual meeting.  Miller Canfield's support has contributed to the association's growth and success, and we owe them a great debt of gratitude.
