The Jo Spaulding Memorial Scholarship
NALS of Greater Kalamazoo annually grants generous scholarships in the spring of each year. Students from the Greater Kalamazoo area who are high school seniors or enrolled in college are eligible to apply. Selection of the scholarship recipient(s) will be based on GPA, leadership experiences, community service, and financial need. Special preference will be given to scholarship candidates who are pursuing higher education in the field of law or a law related area.
Scholarship applications are routinely sent to counselors and/or financial aid offices of all area high schools and colleges in late winter or early spring. In 2008 we gave away two -- $1,000 scholarships!
Information regarding the scholarship has been mailed to all local school counselors and can be obtained below.
